Our work

Education & Child Protection
Education is the foundation of change. SSD provides inclusive learning opportunities from early childhood through adulthood, integrating formal education with digital literacy, STEM, and vocational skills.
We focus on identifying and addressing developmental delays in children through early screening, individualized learning plans, and parent engagement. Our approach ensures that every child—regardless of ability or background—receives the support needed to reach age-appropriate milestones and thrive in school and life.
Alongside this, we work to protect children from abuse, neglect, child marriage, child labour, and other forms of exploitation. Our efforts aim to ensure that every child grows up with safety, dignity, and the opportunity to realize their full potential.
Our youth programs promote leadership, creativity, and civic engagement through sports, arts, and community service. By nurturing critical thinking and life skills, we empower individuals to become lifelong learners and active contributors to society.

Hygiene education remains a core element to ensure long-term behavioural change.

Research and Development
SSD advances knowledge to strengthen social development. We design and implement baseline and end line studies, focused research, impact assessments, and surveys.
With a strong research team, we generate evidence not only for our own programs but also for other organizations, helping shape strategies and measure outcomes. Our work ensures credible data and insights that drive effective and sustainable change.
